Astriolian Chronomancer (ver 1.0)

During the golden days of ancient Astriol, powerful mages bent the laws of space and time to their will. These mages called themselves the Chronomasters, and were reputed to be the men and women in control of that society. After the cataclysmic events of the Shattering, all the knowledge these mages possessed was lost. A few years ago, a order of mages was founded on New Astriol with the express objective to rediscover the lost art of the ancient Chronomasters. This new breed of mages are but a shadow of the former masters of space and time, but their single minded dedication to the study of space and time has granted them glimpses of the power the ancient archmages wielded so efortlessly.

To date only Wizards and Sorcerors have been accepted into the order, but more than a few Clerics have attempted to join the ranks in the past few years, claiming that a deeper understanding of the workings of time and space could throw glimpses into the understanding of deities.

Requirements:
Race: Any
Skills: Knowledge (Arcana) 17 Ranks, Spellcraft 13 Ranks.
Feats: Quicken Spell, Extend Spell, Spell Focus: Transmutation.
Special: Must be able to cast 4 Transmutations of 5th level or higher, at least one of which must be of 7th level or higher.
Special: Must be sponsored by a standing member of the Astriolian Chronomancers.
Class Skills:
The Chronomancer�s class skills (and the key abilities for each skill) are Alchemy (Int), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Knowledge (all) (Int), Profession (Wis), Spellcraft (Int).

Enhanced Extend Spell: Astriolian Chronomancers have studied carefully and in exacting details the interelations between the flowing of time and Arcane spellcasting. Thus, they are able to further increase the duration of their spells with Metamagic. At 1st level, the Chronomancer's Extend Spell feat triples the duration of his spells instead of just doubling it.

Enhanced Quicken Spell:Astriolian Chronomancers have studied carefully and in exacting details the interelations between the flowing of time and Arcane spellcasting. Thus, they are able to bypass certain safeguards and precautions taken by other lesser mages. At 1st level, the Chronomancer's spells affected by the Metamagic feat Quicken spell take a slot 3 levels higher instead of 4 levels higher.

Gravity Sphere: Astriolian Chronomancers have studied carefully and in exacting details the interelations between physical laws and Arcane spellcasting. Thus they are able to create zones where the laws of Gravity are bent to their liking, effctively doubling the weight of their targets. 3 times per day, the Chronomancer may create a 5 foot sphere around a medium sized or smaller target, which must be within 30 feet of him. The target's speed is halved, it looses any Dex bonus to AC and suffers a -2 Penalty to its attack and Reflex saves. A target may take a Ref Save DC 14+Int Modifier to avoid the effects of the sphere. This is a spell-like ability.

Increased Spell Duration: At 3rd Level, a Chronomancer has studied the relationship between time and magic to such an extent, that he may add his Intelligence bonus to his Caster Level to determine the duration of his spells.

Control of Gravity: At 4th level, the Chronomancer's understanding of space reaches its peak. Thus he gains the Spell-like ability to control gravity in its entirety. Twice a day he may control gravity as per the spell Reverse Gravity.

Flowing of Time: At 5th level, the Chronomancer's understanding of time reaches its peak. Thus he gains the Spell-like ability to halt the flow of time. Once per day he may halt time as per the spell Timestop.
